27 May 2010 : Ground Closure
Due to a damaged sewer on the neighbouring Total Butler site which has spread effluent over the outfield and within a few feet of the square, it has become necessary to close the ground to all use whilst STW do an extensive clean-up. The ground is contaminated and will be out of bounds for at least 2 weeks.

All home games during the shut-down will be either re-aranged or movbed to another ground. Please contact your Captains for updates.

01 May 2010 : NETS!
Nets and practice sessions are held on Tuesday evenings from 6-8pm down the ground. Come and get your eye in ready for saturday.

03 Mar 2010 : Cafe Latte at the Pavilion
Our beloved sports pavilion has been given a bit of a facelift as it now has become the home of Cafe Latte. This establishment has decorated the lounge area and provided some new "bistro" style seating (no more the visiting team getting ants in their pants!!!) which we, the Cricket Club, can use. They have also provided some personal touches to the toilets!!!

At the moment, the cafe only opens on Tuesdays from 9.30am-1.30pm and serves an array of Teas, Coffees, snacks, cakes etc...well worth a visit.

They have had to regster with the Environmental Health (who gave us a glowing report on our facilities!!) and it has now been brought to our attention that all Cricket Clubs who serve Teas have to also register....so we are currently in the process of doing this before the start of the season.

Lets try and support the Cafe Latte as the more use our pavilion gets, the more chance we have of getting a new one!!

21 Apr 2009 : Teamsheets and League Tables
Teamsheets for the 1st and 2nd XI will appear under the fixtures tab on the Tuesday before matchdays.

The latest league tables and results will also be updated every Tuesday throughout the season.

Stay tuned for further updates.

01 Mar 2009 : NEW COMMITTEE MEMBERS WANTED!!
Croft CC always need more committee members. The numbers attending the monthly meetings can sometimes dwindle. We need our players and supporters to take an active role in how the club is run.

Very little time is needed...just once a month we meet at the Heathcote on a Wednesday night (the 1st wednesday of the month) and discuss issues affecting the club. Decisions have to be made and we need to know what you the players want...so please have your say. We have come along way so lets not slip back...this is your club so be proud of it and help it go forward...it really needs your help.
